Moran Elkarif: Scammer. Thief. Con Artist.

  1. Moran owes people money that he has not paid.

    a. He owes a company called "Golden Patio" $5,000 for work they did as a subcontractor, and he refuses to pay.

  2. Moran took out a loan as an advance against incoming money (aka factoring receivables) in November of 2023. He then turned around and took out another loan for more money two weeks later even though it was against the terms he just agreed to. He didn't pay either of them back.

  3. Moran owes the IRS money. The IRS case is #: 801294/2023 for $64,500 and an FTB case filed in 2020, case #: 1155100, for $11,500.

  4. Moran agreed to pay Ronald Tochioka $300,000 back for the horrific work he did on his house under the Moonlight Construction name. They made one payment and stopped. See court documents here.

  5. Moran agreed to pay Rufus Thayer back for the damage and "work" done on his house under the Moonlight Construction license. They never made a single payment. See court documents here.

  6. Moran has had three licenses taken away by the Contractor State Liscensng board: Moonlight Construction, Welbilt and Welbilt Supreme Craftsmanship. He is still contracting using a license with someone else's name on it (West Coast Builders 2) He is still running the same scam. Still ruining people's lives.

  7. He extensively uses fake reviews and fake photos of his "work" to trick people. The reviews are FAKE. The photos are FAKE.

  8. He is so paranoid that the truth will get out about him that he hired an SEO company to put out tons of fake websites about him saying that he is a trainer, a designer and other things so that consumers will not know the truth. He is none of these things. Moran Elkarif is a scam artist. A common thief. A confidence man. A man intent on defrauding Los Angeles homeowners so that he can wear designer clothes, go on expensive vacations and have a Rolex.
